Mosquitoes are best known for the habits of the adult females which often feed on blood to help generate their eggs.
The lesser known side is that mosquito adults, males and females, also feed on nectar from flowers. Their immature stages usually are in standing, preferably, water. the larva feed on variety of materials, depending on species.
Mosquitoes bodies and wings most often are covered in tiny scales.
Adult sizes may range from 3 to 9mm.
Mosquitoes treatment is usually an integrated effort involving sources reduction plus the use of chemical control products when needed.
Since mosquitoes develop in water, sources favorable for mosquito breeding. While reduction is the more effective long-term approach to mosquito treatment, the mosquito treatment plan may require using chemical products to supplement sources reduction.
Some sources reduction recommendations may include.
1) Locate where they come from – A diagram of your property is prepared that indicates actual or potential mosquito development sites.
2) Keep them out of the house – Providing recommendations to exclude mosquitoes from getting inside the home.
3) Eliminate Hiding Spots – Providing recommendations for vegetations managements since many species of mosquitos’ rest in vegetation around the home during the day.
Some chemicals products use that may be needed for mosquito treatment include.
1) Vegetation treatments – Applying insecticides to vegetation that adult mosquitoes use for sheltered resting sites.
2) Water Treatments – Applying insect growth regulator that prevents mosquito’s development in their water environment.
3) Prevent Eggs from Hatching – Applying microbial insecticides products that cause mosquito mortality in their water environments.
Our mosquito management control is aimed to diminish the number of mosquitoes from the residential, public and private sector where humans are common to come across and diminish the level of the diseases caused by the mosquitoes.
The different mosquito management methodologies used by us is 100% effective. This makes us more confident about our mosquito control methodology and its effectiveness on the mosquitoes.
We have three treatment procedures as follows :-
Space Treatment – We use a residual insecticide spray which water – based formulation of the microbial insecticide. It is sprayed in the open space to deliver a lethal dose of the insecticide to mosquitoes and kill them effectively.
The technology that we use is totally human friendly as well as environmentally friendly. The valuable results of this space spraying treatment for mosquito control have made it the favorable in larger areas to reduce the population of the mosquitoes to the minimal level and preventing the spread of diseases caused by mosquitoes.
Larvicides Treatment – In this treatment we directly target the immature stage of the mosquitoes, which is also recognized as the mosquito larvae in order to reduce the number of adult mosquitoes.
Generally, these insecticides are in the form of the liquid and hence we use an IKE sprayer to apply on the affected area, whereas powder or granular form insecticides are applied with the help of the mosquito controller e.g Insect Light trapper (ILT)
Fogging Treatment – This fogging treatment is used to kill the adult mosquitoes. It is one of the highly acclaimed mosquito management treatments to eradicate mosquitoes and ensures a completely safe environment for you and your family.
In this treatment, the considerable amount of fog is created by blasting the synthetic pyrethroid (odorless) insecticide and water in the form of tiny droplets.
This fogging treatment for mosquitoes control is safe for human as well as environment, as we use a minimal amount of the insecticide in the fogging treatment.
Advanced, long-lasting treatment for indoor residual spraying are such as:-
1) Fendona 60% Suspension Concentrate (Alpha-cypermethrin)
2) Icon 10% Capsule Suspension (pyrethroid) (lambda-cyhalothrin)
3) Actellic 300c – A micro-encapsulated formulation of Actellic for the long-lasting control of pyrethroid resistant malaria-carrying mosquitoes. Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) programs provide up to one-year’s residual control of mosquitoes and other public health pests.
Falcon is trained to help manage mosquitoes and similar pests. Since every building or home is different, your Falcon technician will design a unique program for your situation.
